Stepping Forward: Reflections on Leadership and What Comes Next for Reveal

When I started Reveal nearly 18 years ago, I had a vision that automation could transform how legal professionals do their work. I didn’t know exactly how we’d get there, but I knew the industry needed a change. And I believed we could be the ones to lead it.

Today, I’m writing to share that I’m stepping down as CEO and transitioning into a new role as a Chairman of Reveal’s Board of Directors. 

This was not a decision I made lightly. Reveal has been one of the most important parts of my life. But I’ve come to realize that the best way to continue contributing meaningfully is to shift my focus from day-to-day operations to long-term guidance. It also gives me the chance to spend more time with my family of five, a priority I’ve held close to my heart and am ready to honor more fully.

I will continue to serve as a strategic advisor as Chairman, supporting the company’s long-term vision and momentum, while also providing support and guidance to my successor and the leadership team, to help shape direction and provide continuity. Most importantly, I’ll remain closely connected to the customers and partners who have been instrumental in building Reveal into what it is today.

Additionally, I plan to mentor the next generation of founders and operating CEOs navigating the same challenges I once faced. I’m also committed to investing in visionary entrepreneurs shaping the future of SaaS and enterprise innovation. This next chapter is about creating lasting impact across both my professional journey and personal mission.

What gives me total confidence in this transition is the incredible team behind Reveal. Together, we’ve grown from a bold startup into a global platform that’s reshaping the legal tech landscape. We’ve unified best-in-class tools, pioneered new capabilities, and earned the trust of clients around the world.

It’s also why I’m thrilled to introduce Eric Harmon as Reveal’s next Chief Executive Officer.

Eric brings more than two decades of leadership experience across global technology, cybersecurity, and enterprise services, and more than four years at an Am Law 25 law firm. He’s held senior roles at Trustwave, DXC Technology, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and McKinsey & Company, driving transformation, building high-performing teams, and delivering value at scale. But what made Eric stand out was not just his experience. It was his alignment with Reveal’s values, his customer-first approach, and his belief in our mission.

Throughout the search process, I was intentional and deeply committed to finding someone who could carry Reveal forward as a business and also a culture. Eric and I built a strong personal connection, and I’ll continue to support him as he leads Reveal into its next era. He is the right leader at the right time.

Together, we’ve grown Reveal from a bold idea to a global AI platform used by thousands of legal professionals around the world. We’ve unified world-class technologies, executed strategic acquisitions, pioneered patent-pending tools like ASK and aji, and built something truly unique in the market - a dual-platform ecosystem with Reveal and Logikcull, powered by a single, unified AI engine.
