Summary

Description

New

Filters

New filter for Batch Folder field

This feature exposes a new filter on the left-hand sidebar that allows users to quickly filter for specific batch folder names. The name is the prefix applied to batch folders.

New

Grid

Allows users to copy value of displayed long tooltip from the Grid.

New feature for the Review Grid. On hover, a Copy icon is shown for every cell, allowing the user to quickly copy the cell's value to the clipboard.

New

Grid

New visual indicator in the Grid tells users which document is open within the Document Viewer

We will now highlight the row in the Grid for the document that has been opened in the document viewer. The highlight will move with the next/previous buttons in the review window. The highlight will remain in place after the document viewer has been closed to reinforce where the user was in the document list.

New

Indexing

Index documents from within the Review Grid

For user roles with the necessary permissions, there is a new ability to request indexing of documents from the Review Grid. This feature triggers the same indexing job types available in the Review Manager, such as Native/HTML, Extracted, and OCR/Loaded, but now available to be requested directly from the web user interface in Reveal 11. The indexing request can be made for specific documents selected in the grid, or for all documents in the project.

New

Supervised Learning

Added round-to-round feature comparison report.

There is a new Feature History report in the Supervised Learning section. For every classifier with at least two completed training rounds, the report will allow comparison between the Top-ranking 500 classifier features (such as keywords or metadata) in the latest completed round vs. the ranking of these features in a previous round. The goal of the report is to show how the classifier is changing in terms of the features that most contributed to a document’s score across the project dataset. A round may have more than 500 features that contribute to scoring, but this report focuses on the top-ranking 500 features (by weight). This report has pagination, a simple quick search feature, filter toggles by type of change, and a link to download it as a CSV.
NOTE that rounds completed before this version (11.8) will not be possible to use for Feature History comparison, as the historical feature rankings would not have been stored.

New

Supervised Learning

Added Agreement report.

Added a Reviewer Agreement report to the Supervised Learning section for each classifier. This report compares how often the positive/negative determinations from document scores assigned by the classifier and the positive/negative decisions applied by human reviewers coincide in each round. (Data for individual reviewers is not available at this time, this report uses human-applied positive/negative tags - the AI tag choices associated with the classifier - from any reviewer for its calculations.)
The report presents a graph, a table, and the ability to download the table as a CSV. There is an option to select several training rounds to include in the report, up to a maximum of 20. There is an option to set the score threshold above which a document would be counted as Positive (and below which it would be counted as Negative) as determined by the classifier score.

Update

Admin Views

Admin Views -> Assignments -> Threads returns error.

Hid an unused entry (Threads) in the Admin Views > Assignments > sidebar.

Update

AI Sync

Round scoring jobs taking long to complete.

Major update to the scheduling and speed of AI Model Scoring and AI Vector Generation processes, based on reworking of the automation services that run these processes.

Update

Assignments

Checking out assignments/batches - no message warning batch already assigned.

When attempting to check out a pool batch, a notification will display that this batch is checked out by another user.

Update

Heatmap

Allows pagination for search terms in the Heatmap.

The Heatmap view now has increased flexibility in terms of the number of rows it can present for search terms. The rows when populated by search terms can now have up to 1000 terms, instead of the previous limit of 20. The results are presented over multiple pages, with up to 20 rows per page. (The rows when populated by metadata field values are not limited to a maximum, but also paginated, as of the previous version.)

As before, the Download CSV function will only create a CSV of what is shown on the current page for performance considerations. Also as before, the Click-to-Sort function only sorts values in the Heatmap from current page. This is necessary to keep from running 1000s of queries with one click.

Update

Language

Update Kendo calendar to respect chosen locale.

The date picker experience has been updated to prepare for supporting more local date formats in the future.

Update

Productions

Provides the ability to name native files after the value in the BegBates field.

As a small enhancement to the Production Export options, native files (if selected to be exported) can derive their name from the value in the Begin Bates field that is present in all Reveal projects. The Beg Bates field will be included in the File Name section, Native File Name, of the Production Export Setup screen.

Update

Productions

Production preset for AU Concordance.

As an enhancement targeted for Australian clients but available to all, to the Production Export options now include an AU Concordance choice for the Database Load File Specifications. It uses a different Multi-Value field delimiter, as specified in the file format - ASCII:59; (semicolon).

Update

Projects

Shows project page with no projects, with or without Company Admin.

The project selection screen has been updated to include a Company Admin button, if the logged in user has permission to access that area. The button will be present even if the user has not been assigned to any projects.

Update

Search

Update to search builder pills to match style guide.

Several minor stylistic updates have been made to the colors of search builder "pills" to keep them in line with system-wide color palettes used.

Update

Search

Improve clarity of the drag and drop experience of the search builder.

Completely reworked the drag and drop experience in the search builder. Pills can be dragged on top of another pill to group them together or dragged above or below other pills to re-arrange groups.

Update

Supervised Learning

Provides clearer separators to the beginning and end of each sentiment snippet.

[Only for new projects and newly reindexed projects] To increase readability, the positivity and negativity snippets recorded for documents that have those emotions detected have been updated to preserve capitalization and punctuation. Multiple snippets are also separated with three dots (...) between the snippets.

Update

UI

Updated dropdowns to be consistent with Style Guide.

Small tweaks to the presentation of dropdown menus across the tool to match the comprehensive platform style guide.

Update

UI

Updated Account Menu.

Small tweak to the Account menu to include the display of the current logged-in user's name.

Update

UI

Some items impossible to click within domain dashboard widget.

The numbers on several dashboard widgets (such as Domains, Senders, Extension) are now clickable, in addition to the color bars. This will make it easier to click on items that have very small document count and result in a tiny color bar (e.g. one document).

Update

UI

Updated DatePicker to consistent DatePicker library

Input fields for date and time now use a more user-friendly and convenient date and time picker across the platform. This doesn't change any date-related behavior other than to make it easier to select dates from a calendar-like interface.

Update

UI

Expanded filters and folders when clicked in the sidebar.

We made it easier to expand some folder top-level categories (such as Work Folders) in the Sidebar by clicking on their names, in addition to being able to act on the > icon next to them. Individual folders that are searchable (e.g. My Work Folder 1) retain current behavior that adds them to the search when their name is clicked.

Update

UI

Updated dashboard chart colors to new data palette.

The dashboard widget colors have been updated to better match our style guide and offer better color contrast on several graphs. The new colors do not indicate any changes to meaning of the widget graphs.

Update

Update

Added field profile selection to Bulk Update Fields.

The bulk Update function, namely the Fields section, has been updated to include a Field Profile selection. Before selecting fields to update in bulk, users with permission to update Fields in bulk must select a field profile and then select only fields from one field profile to update in the same Update job. Bulk-updating fields from different profiles will require multiple Update jobs. This will ensure that any changes to field values have an associated profile recorded, as they do when a field is changed in the Document Viewer.

Fix

Assignments

Pool Assignment are failing to checkout and the assign call returns a 400.

Corrected issue where checking out an assignment batch from a pool could result in an unexpected error (error 400).

Fix

Data Visualizations

Dashboard Widgets infinite load - multiple same pills.

Corrected an edge-case issue that occurs when adding the exact same search criteria multiple times.

Fix

Data Visualizations

Candy Bar shows previous search results.

Corrected issue where the duplication widget (often called the candy bar widget) for search results could be one search action behind - showing results based on the search right before the latest search - depending on how the search criteria was added.

Fix

Field Profile

Adding fields to profile intermittently gives 400 errors.

Resolved issue with adding new fields to a field profile that intermittently produced an error in the console even if the field was added successfully.

Fix

Filters

Filter modal gets cut when there are many options in the list of items.

Corrected visual rendering issue where the button of the advanced search metadata window could be placed outside the window on smaller screens.

Fix

Grid

GRID-> Bulk action: Unassigned Docs-> Jobs: "error loading items".

Corrected a specific scenario in the Unassign Documents action where the (By) Job category could not load all sub-items.

Fix

Grid

User setting for vertical lines needs a refresh to be visible on the Grid.

Corrected an auto-refresh issue with the Review Grid exhibited after changing a user setting to display or hide vertical grid lines.

Fix

Grid

Every document in the case has the icon for “has Email Threads”.

Fix. Corrected issue where most documents were showing the indicator 'has Email Threads.' The logic for this icon has been changed. Now, a document must be a message but not a standalone message (i.e, there are other docs with the same thread id that are also messages). Note: To see this fix in an existing project, administrators have to re-index metadata to update the grid icons and flag field values.

Fix

Image Labeling

Image Labeling unable to store document IDs.

Image Labeling jobs briefly experienced an issue with not being able to store document ids if they were based on a search job. This issue has been corrected.

Fix

Language

Manage Batches unavailable in other languages.

The Manage Batches shortcut was not available when the UI Language was set to a non-English language.

Fix

Language

Date Format not using selected locale.

Corrected 11.7 issue where the UI Language setting was not affecting a conversion of the date in the grid to the local rendering format, as determined by the UI Language user setting.

Fix

Model Library

Exporting AI Model Error.

Addressed a scenario in the Model Library where some models exported to a file properly but others produced an error "Unable to prepare the file to download. JobStatus: undefined."

Fix

Productions

Production jobs queued get stuck and never get processed.

Corrected condition where running more than four simultaneous Production jobs could result in jobs starting from the fourth job - not being queued in the correct order - or not being processed.

Fix

Projects

Project names get stuck in descending order when sorted in the project selection screen.

Corrected a small issue where the sort function on the Project Selection screen was not allowing ascending order, just descending.

Fix

Redaction

[11.x] Redaction - Reveal Review

Addresses a scenario where the user was zooming out of the image and then applying a full page redaction that extended outside of the area where we can register the redaction being applied.

Fix

RSMF Rendering

Improved Native/HTML view and image rendering for RSMF data from Processing.

Updated rendering of RSMF data when imaged as PDF for review purposes. Borders around individual messages from certain sources were being misplaced due to a CSS/HTML to PDF conversion limitation. The border placement has been improved.

Fix

Saved Search

Saved Searches are sorted alpha descending per page instead of across all saved searches.

Corrected sorting logic in the Saved Search window so it covers multiple pages. When there are enough saved searches within a saved search folder to span more than one page, alphabethical sorting will work across all of the saved searches, not just the specific page shown.

Fix

Search

Folder list from search builder extending beyond modal.

Corrected visual rendering issue where some contents of the advanced search's folder window could be placed outside the window on smaller screens.

Fix

Supervised Learning

Number of top classifier features retrieved is less than the label-indicated 10000.

The table of features in Supervised Learning, Model Insights > Features and Document Score was meant to list up to 10,000 features and the table heading says so. However, the report was only retrieving up to 20 top features in a prior version. All features were contributing to scoring but were not being included in the reports. The reports exposed up to 20, not the top 10,000 as implied by the table header. Now the reports will include up to 10,000. There could be more than that number, and if so, they will not be included in the report, as the heading implies.

Fix

Term List

Empty row in Term List can cause validation error.

Corrected issue on the Term List search criteria with empty rows that could cause validation errors.

Fix

UI

Within the landing page the project kebab is unavailable until after documents are indexed.

On the project selection page, additional shortcuts to certain areas of the platform were disabled without reason until after document indexing jobs were completed. Those shortcuts are now available even while such jobs are still in progress.

Fix

Upload

Upload Jobs from the React UI do not complete.

Corrected the displayed completion status of Upload jobs initiated from the newer Upload function.

Fix

Upload

Upload job counts incorrect.

There was an issue with recording the correct number of files uploaded or original documents loaded during an Upload job started in the newer Upload tool. This issue has been fixed.
